SAGE Strain Review – Bonza Blog

SAGE. – though it seems like the sage usually used for cooking, healing or clearing out spaces, the cannabis version brings entirely different goodness. Its full name is Sativa Afghani Genetic Equilibrium. Although it is Sativa-dominant, its effects are actually more balanced.

Created by TH Seeds, this cannabis has held its own in spite of the new hybrids that seem to pop out of nowhere every second of the day. In fact, it is also a past winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup. That is not surprising when one sees its lineage.

SAGE is a cross between the best of both worlds. On one side is Haze, one of the best Sativa hybrids worldwide and is notable for its high energy buzz. On the other side is an Afghani strain, arguably the best Indica of all time.

Beginners may also take part in cultivating this plant as it is not finicky. Indoors, SAGE thrives best using the sea of green method. It thrives well in soil or hydroponics. One important note in growing this strain is that it should not be overwatered. Regular trimming is a must to allow for more light and air circulation. It has a flowering time of 10 to 11 weeks. While it seems too long, the reward is 300 to 350 grams of harvest per square meter.

SAGE loves the sunny outdoors. It readily adapts to changes in temperature. And, if all goes well, the plant is up for harvest during the early weeks of November. Each plant can produce up to 400 grams of buds.
