MAK 10 is a new Indica-dominant hybrid strain from Ultra Genetics which is derived from a cut of their Mendo Grape Kush (MGK) pollinated by an AK Confidential male.
The Mendo Grape Kush mother that was used to develop MAK 10 is a high yielding type which is prone to developing a purple hue towards the end of the flowering cycle. Ultra Genetics' breeders have masterfully harnessed both of those qualities from the mother, and when combined with the fast-flowering, Indica-dominant genes from the AK Confidential, you have a real all-rounder with very desirable traits and attributes.
When Ultra Genetics ran a test cultivation of MAK 10 in a legal climate, the plants grew vigorously and if maintained, particularly by allowing lots of light and by trimming off lower branches, they produced some enormous yields. The beautiful purple colouration comes through towards the end of flowering in most phenos, with some showing a purple hue a little earlier than others. Flavours and aromas vary between phenos, with some plants borrowing the fruity, candy sweetness from the AK Confidential and others leaning more towards the kushy flavours of the MGK.
