Sick Meds at Bonza!

Posted on 16th Jun 2015 @ 2:20 PM

SickMeds Seeds passion is to share with the rest of the canna community genetics that either are no longer available, to those that are clone only that everyone wants to have, to strains developed with medicinal attributes in mind, for recreational or commercial growers, or those seeking strains developed with consideration to particular ailments.
We, as keen growers ourselves with over ten years experience have missed the opportunity at times to grow certain strains, ones we would consider to be building blocks of today’s modern strains such as those produced by Super Sativa Seed Club in the mid 80's. Through our obsession to track down such genetics we are able to bring old lines back to life, and to be shared with everyone. To work with genetics such as our William´s Wonder to release the strain in its purist form in both regular and feminised versions.
We are now working closely with canna labs and research in order to gain further appreciation of cannabinoid qualities and properties of our strains. This allows us to develop strains with knowing what each parent will contribute in terms of cannabinoid percentages and whether these match when breeding. It also acts as means to ensure consistency in each of our releases, as quality and consistency are fundamental in our approach.
We aim to move forward and research, embrace new techniques in regards to canna technology. At present we are assessing the effectiveness of plant tissue culture. The potential that cannabis genetics are preserved and recreated. Although the theories behind these methods are not new, the practise of using these methods in the canna world are still to be explored and fully understood.
