The White Strain Review – Bonza Blog
White is a color that symbolizes innocence and purity. It invokes happiness even without having the grandest things in life. Moreover, it promotes calmness and peace of mind. To that end, that is how the cannabis strain named The White brings to its users.
No one knows the genetic origin of The White, but there are plenty of theories. Due to its Kush-like qualities, some people think it might be a descendant of Purple Kush, Master Kush, and OG Kush. Although there is a suspicion that it might be a three-way cross, it was not the reason why it was called Triangle in the past.
Another story floating around is that The White came from a bad of seeds from a strain in Florida called Triangle. If that is true, then that makes it a descendant of a female Triangle and an unknown male plant.
Regardless of its real genetic lineage, there is one thing that is for sure. Due to the thick sugary white trichomes covering its bud, cannabis users now call it The White.

Odor and Flavors
It is easy to understand why cannabis connoisseurs think of the Kush lineage as soon as they catch a whiff of The White. It emits a pungent blend of pine and earth that is reminiscent of OG Kush with a sweet note. As much of its fragrance carries over to its taste, its smoke is not only easy on the throat but also on the lungs making the experience so much more pleasurable.
The abundant white crystals covering the buds tell users what they need to know. The White comes with an insane amount of THC with up to 28% according to some tests. Hence, whatever experience it induces, it is bound to be on the extreme side.
The White is mostly Indica, even so, the onset of its effects begins soon after the first toke with an intense buzzing cerebral high. It results in the users not merely feeling uplifted but more ecstatic. During the early stage, minds clear and most users have a sharper focus. The strain also unlocks creativity and induce free-flowing thoughts.
At some point, the effects of the strain start to manifest on the body. Users begin to feel more relaxed without the heavy sedation or lethargy, that is if they used only a small amount. However, that is easier said than done. Because it is an extremely potent hybrid, a tad bit more and it can become overwhelming. In this case, it is likely that users find themselves lost in their thoughts or even have a foggy mind.
Users of The White can expect to experience dry mouth and eyes. It is also possible that some people may even feel a little bit dizzy. Such conditions, of course, is nothing new with the use of cannabis. Often, these are mild and negligible.
In case of overindulgence, other conditions may also occur. One is having a mild headache; another is feeling a little bit paranoid.
Medical Use and Benefits
The powerful psychoactive properties of The White have benefits to medical cannabis users. Depending on the need, there are more than a few ways users can take advantage of the strain.
For instance, one of its most popular use is with pain relief. In this case, medical users tend to consume to the limits of their tolerance to induce a heavy-hitting body high. It comes with sedative-like properties that help dampen or lessen the symptoms of discomforts caused by chronic illnesses. Because of the deep relaxation, it becomes conducive to sleeping. It allows patients tp rest and recover. It can also help people with trouble sleeping find quality sleep.
People undergoing stress or depression will also find relief from using The White. In this case, using only a small amount is already enough to swing the mood. Instead of a burden, the euphoric buzz of the strain can quickly melt away the troubles of the world. As such, managing emotion becomes easy.
Either way, the use of The White is likely to cause a severe case of the munchies. Anyone needing a boost in their appetite should find it helpful.
Growing The White
It appears that The White is not available in seed form. As such, the only way to cultivate it is to have a clipping. Nonetheless, it should not be a difficult plant to grow. It also likely grows more like a typical Indica plant.
It is safe to assume that The White will have no trouble thriving indoor. Growers may opt to use hydroponics to shorted the flowering time to around 8 or 9 weeks. Topping it early is highly recommended to keep it short and bushy. It goes without saying that growers will have to regularly trim its leaves. Not only does it allow more lighting to reach the otherwise hard to reach areas, but it also helps in ventilation. As such, there is less chance of having molds and mildews. Once ready for harvest, each square meter of this plant may yield up to 450 grams of buds.
Outdoors, the flowering time occurs during the last week of September to the first week of October. Yields are generous as an estimated amount of 550 grams per plant can be expected.
