Silver Haze has made a name for itself. Among the cannabis enthusiasts, it has the reputation of never disappointing with its strong cerebral high. Being a mostly Sativa strain, much of its heritage traces back to the legendary Haze. However, the breeder Sensi Seeds introduced a bit of the Indica with the equally prominent Northern Lights.
Haze, arguably, is one of the best Sativa hybrids ever. It traces its roots from landrace South Indian, Thai, Colombian, and Mexican strains. Unfortunately, its distribution is a bit limited for one reason – many growers could not justify its practicality due to the amount of space needed and its low yield.
Silver Haze is a remake of the original Haze, but one that overcomes the weaknesses of the original. Sensi Seeds could not have picked a better choice other than Northern Lights.
First rumored to have originated from Seattle, it found its way to what was later to become Sensi Seeds in Amsterdam. It is among the few strains that rightfully belongs to the hall-of-fame. More than its traits, its most significant role was to pass on its resiliency and fast flowering period to Silver Haze.
As a testament to the greatness of the two illustrious strains, Silver Haze has proven to be a classic being a 12-time winner of the Cannabis Cup. Since its release, it has consistently brought pleasing mental high to users without crippling the mind and the body.

Silver Haze is a looker in a bushy bunch. People first notice how it sparkles against the pepper-shaped nugs. Its silvery color is due to the crystals covering the trichome. Outdoors, this cannabis thrives well under a warm and dry climate with the temperature ranging from 21 to 27 Celsius. It is ready for harvest in the last weeks of October. Silver Haze yields an average of 450 grams per plant.
