Orange Haze Strain Review
Orange Haze is an aromatic hybrid that is refreshing in every way – beginning from the orange fragrance its buds emit to the mood-enhancing buzz it induces. Lasting for hours, it assures enthusiasts of a productive day whether it is through engaging in social activities or staying upbeat at work.
However, nothing short is expected of the strain. Apart from leaning toward Sativa, its high-flying euphoria is a trait it gained from Orange Bud. The fruity parent also imparted bursts of intuition against a lucid body high that takes away the of tediousness of repetitive tasks.
The addition of the classic Haze, which is undoubted the most well-known Sativa in the world, also improved upon the widely-acclaimed Orange Bud. As a genetic base, it has been used in the creation of long-lasting, energizing hybrids that have earned a place in the cannabis industry.
The psychoactive tycoon Orange Haze contains 18% to 20% THC, which alludes to its pungent but aromatic aroma and resin-heavy buds. However, it also serves a warning to beginners trying out the morning strain. Though moderate doses deliver a functional wake-and-bake, it can be an imposing strain in high amounts.

Fresh and tropical, Orange Haze boasts a mouth-watering aroma that will have the senses basking in pungent delight. It is sour and fruity with its citric blend of oranges. A sweetness, which is reminiscent of honey, along with an undertone of skunk presents itself during the exhale.
Orange Haze takes the mind for a euphoric spin within minutes after the first few draws of its citrus-flavored smoke. A reinvigorating euphoria spreads all over the body as though it had been zapped by an energizing lightning.
For casual users, the mental clarity brings back happy thoughts that leave one laughing at the most random times. It also encourages better confidence as people feel compelled to share either memories or opinions.
While others prefer to engage in light conversations, there are many who take advantage of the free-flowing ideas during a brainstorming session to revamp previous drafts or outlines. Although, it is better to prepare snacks ahead of time as using the mind can be quite hunger-inducing.
After about an hour or two, a warm, fuzzy feeling envelops the body. In the limbs is a light pressure that, instead of planting a heaviness, eases the muscles until it feels as though one is floating on cloud nine.
Taken in moderation, Orange Haze provides users with clarity through its mentally stimulating buzz. When used outside of one’s limits, it can induce a subtle feeling of paranoia or spike up levels of anxiety. Keeping doses low, however, will prevent users from being overwhelmed by its intensity.
Albeit mild, a cottonmouth and dry eyes can still be annoying. The dry spell can also lead to a subtle headache. As such, it is important to relieve the symptoms of dehydration by downing a few glasses of water throughout the day.

Growing Orange Haze
Previous experience in gardening is always a welcome skill in growing Orange Haze. After all, the Sativa-dominant plant requires extra care and attention for its rather lanky structure against strong gusts of wind as well as cool weather. Although, the same airy trait provides additional resistance against mold and mildew.
One obvious challenge to cultivating the strain is its height that towers up to 300 cm. Apart from an early topping, which will keep it short in vertically-challenged spaces, it also needs to be thinned down to improve light and air circulation in the lower nodes. Moreover, pruning cuts away dead branches or leaves that may be competing with nutrient distribution in healthier parts of the plant. It should be noted though that it should be done 2 to 3 weeks into flowering, as doing so past this date can hurt its yield.
Growers can improve yields by using hydro with a Sea of Green set-up. However, soil remains undefeated when it comes to enhancing the buds flavors and aroma.
Maturing faster compared to other Sativa-dominant strains, Orange Haze matures fully within 9 weeks of flowering with each square meter producing 500 grams of buds. Outdoors, on the other hand, it flourishes under the Mediterranean sky but will produce vigorous buds of up to 600 grams before late October.
