In the mid-80s, a strain from Seattle in Washington made its way to Netherlands. Initially, it was called CI #5 F1. Sensi Seeds then picked three of its best phenotypes and started back-breeding. It took many years, but the result is what is tantamount to the perfect strain.

Northern Lights has a pungent aroma that is reminiscent of early morning scent of fresh earth. People who are familiar with the smell of hash may detect it as well. For growers who have the luxury of cultivating Northern Plants in both environments, the better choice would be to do it indoors where it can produce more buds. One of the traits that were developed by Sensi Seeds during its breeding was to make it thrive exceptionally well indoors.
