Nebula Strain Review – Bonza Blog

In astronomy, a cloud of dust is called a nebula. In that sense, naming this strain as such is apt. Looking at its coating, it appears to twinkle like stars in the same way a star cloud seems. Furthermore, the hybrid can and will take people on a trippy ride in space especially when using too much.

Bred in 1996 by Paradise Seeds, the exact lineage of Nebula is somewhat obscure. Most likely, it is to prevent other people from attempting to duplicate it. At any rate, there is a belief that it is a cross between US Haze and Master Widow.

For most people though, the lineage does not matter. About the only thing that is of importance is the effects it delivers. It has also placed well in numerous competitions including:

    • 2012 Copa del Plata 2012 (Outdoor), 1st place
    • 2005 Copa La Bella Flor Spain, 1st place
    • 2005 High Times Cannabis Cup Sativa category, 2nd place
    • 2004 Highlife Cup Hydro category, 3rd place
    • 1999 High Times Cannabis Cup Sativa category, 3rd place

Adverse Reactions

Nebula is known for its stellar effects. However, there are some minor discomforts in using this cannabis. Before smoking, having a glass of water nearby can be handy. That is to allow users to take sips and keep the throat moist as it can cause cottonmouth. Other conditions include dry eyes and dizziness.

On rare occasions, some people especially those who are new to Sativa hybrids may feel a bit paranoid. It is more likely to occur during the onset or during times when too much was smoked. Hence, remember to use cannabis in moderation.

Growing Nebula

Nebula is mostly green in color with some patches of purple cover the buds area. There are also abundant orange hairs that stick out making it pleasant to the eyes. As its name suggests, it twinkles because of the thick and tight THC-rich bud formations. This plant is ideal for beginners and thrives in both indoors and outdoors.
