MK Ultra Strain Review – Bonza Blog
MK Ultra is one of those hybrids that has a fascinating history. It even extends to one of its parent strain G-13. Legend has it that this potent Indica was a secret project of the CIA or FBI. The story goes on to mention a technician smuggling a cut that later came to be cold G-13.
In all likelihood, this is nothing but a tall tale. Still, it may have influenced T.H. Seeds. After developing a hybrid by crossing G-13 and OG Kush, they called it MK Ultra – a reference to a special project of the CIA almost seven decades ago. Allegedly, it involved human experiements on mind control.
Boasting of large buds with a generous amount of THC, MK Ultra is one incredibly powerful hybrid. At one time or the other, its reputation is that of being the most potent cannabis in the universe. A winner of the 2003 and second placer of 2004 High Times Cannabis Cup Best Indica, it is best avoided by first-timers and beginners.

Even as it brings one to a euphoric high, it also leaves the mind in a dreamy or hypnotic state. All this while the body basks in extreme relaxation.
One thing to note is that this hybrid calls out for the munchies. So before starting the session, snacks should be up for grabs on the side. After all, once a massive couch-lock sets in, it is unlikely that anyone can muster enough willpower to get up and raid the kitchen.
The devastating qualities of MK Ultra culminate before its effects complete wears off the body as it puts users to sleep. As such, people should use this strain at the end of the day.
A potent smoke certainly does not come without a bit of discomfort. MK Ultra can cause the drying of the eyes and mouth though this can be relieved by drinking a glass of water or two.
Some also report getting dizzy and having a headache once on the high. Its intense buzzing effects may also cause some people to feel anxious or paranoid. But not to worry as these passes quite quickly, especially for experienced smokers.
Medical Use and Benefits
MK Ultra comes with immense pharmacological benefits. And, because of its fast-acting nature, relief could not come at a sooner time. As soon as the cerebral high sets in, stress gives way to euphoric feeling. And, for those dealing with depression, if that is not enough, then the sedating body effects will.
Its ability to soothe muscles and induce deep relaxation is also beneficial in relieving pains and other body aches such as spasms and migraines.
As mentioned, it can put people to sleep. Used as such, it should be of immense value to insomniacs. And, in causing the munchies, some people may use it as an appetite stimulant. For that to work, it has to be used in very small amount only.
