Blueberry Headband Strain Review – Bonza Blog

It has always been a wonder to some people how cannabis could be both euphoric and relaxing. Nonetheless, both recreational and medical marijuana users are just thankful that they exist. Blueberry Headband is one of those strains. As its name suggests, this hybrid emits fruity and fuel freshness along with its clear-headed highs.

Though its effects are crystal clear amazing for everyone, its origin is a blur.

Blueberry Headband comes in several variations. Emerald Triangle Seeds, however, is credited as the original breeder. Since then, other breeders crossed Blueberry and Headband to produce their own.

Emerald Triangle Seeds, on the other hand, used four strains – ’76 Blueberry, Emerald OG Kush, Cali Sour D, and Pre-98 Bubba Kush. For all intents and purposes, the variants and this hybrid are not the same. Hence, it is also not surprising they differ in some traits and effects.

Odor and Flavors

Blueberry Headband emits a distinct scent of blueberry with a hint of earth and diesel. After breaking the buds into smaller pieces, it also releases a pungent note of lemon and pine. Often, users would describe its aroma as pleasant. Even so, its flavors take it to a whole new level. Adding to its fragrance is the more noticeable note of blueberry with a citrusy aftertaste.

Effects

A strain may come with exceptional fragrance and flavors. But at the end of the day, it is the effects it delivers that concerns the users. To this end, it does not disappoint.

It is a fast-acting strain that starts by delivering intense cerebral effects. Often, users feel a slight pressure between the eyes and the temple. As it continues to intensify, Blueberry Headband uplifts the mood leaving users feeling very happy. Although buzzing, users still will have a clear head and can be productive if they want to be.

The Indica side, blending with the mental high, soon creeps into the body. As tensions leave the body and muscles feel calm, users then find themselves in deep relaxation.

Some strains that come with a buzzing mental high, if uncontrolled, can lead to a speedy or even a psychedelic high. In the case of Banana Headband, that does not seem to be the case. In fact, it is because of the physical effects that sort of prevent people from going over the edge.

After taking users on a high, it brings them back to the ground in a state of complete relaxation. Because of that, it is best to use it at the end of the day.

Growing Blueberry Headband

When it comes to growing the plant, Blueberry Headband is not only for the seasoned or experienced growers. Even beginners should be able to cultivate it successfully. One thing to consider is that it comes with a pungent odor. In other words, neighbors may know what one is up to if it is planted in the garden or the backyard. And if it is planted indoors, then using a carbon-activated filter is also needed.

Out in the open, Blueberry Headband grows exceptionally well in a warm environment. It is a bushy plant, so adequate spacing is needed in-between plants to allow room for growth. Because of its large and heavy buds, some support may be needed. The plant should transition to the flowering stage at the start of October with each capable of producing as much as a staggering 1,150 grams of buds.

Indoors, space can be tight. Hence, growers will have to trim the leaves. Fortunately, it is quite resistant to molds. That is not to say that it is completely immune. So, maintaining proper ventilation and humidity levels is critical to optimal growth. It is ready for flowering in as early as eight weeks. Once ready for harvesting, growers can expect a better-than-decent yield of 450 grams per square meter.
