Atomical Haze Strain Review – Bonza Blog
Atomical Haze is a pharmacological wonder that has won the hearts of various patients for its energizing high. It is the perfect pick-me-up no matter the time of day for people that feel blue either due to one’s health issue or a personal problem. Because of this, it also works well as a wake-and-bake strain.
In creating the strain, Paradise Seeds took three legendary Sativas and a prominent Indica. Its long list of diverse genealogy begins with the illustrious Haze and the South Indian Sativa, both descend from indigenous landrace strains that span from Colombia, Mexico, and Thailand. Meanwhile, Sweet Afghan influenced its soothing stress crushing body high.
One thing that sets Atomical Haze apart is the physical tranquility it brings. Although intense, it does not lull users to sleep. Instead, it refreshes the mind and body along with its refreshing head high.

Odor and Flavors
Atomical Haze has a pungent scent reminiscent of its parent strains. There is a strong overtone of earth and a tinge of sweetness that make it seem refreshing. A subtle sourness is present too which hints at its chemical undertone. On the exhale, it leaves a spicy haze aftertaste that lingers long after the last puff.
Atomical Haze’s effects drop like an atomic bomb: intense and explosive. It is also just as quick, with a psychoactive high that starts within minutes after the first few puffs. Its uplifting and thoroughly energizing buzz enchants one to complete tasks especially during the onset.
For casual users, the mental clarity removes thoughts that cloud that mind. In its place is a high-intensity focus that is best taken advantaged of during days where maximum concentration is needed or when motivation is low. Additionally, the uplifting buzz inspires a surge in creativity wherein ideas flow easily into innovative solutions.
Complementing the cerebral onset is an immense feeling of warmth that washes over the body. It comes in waves of relaxation that brings about peace and tranquility. It does not impose any sleepy feeling, but it may feel arousing at times. For this reason, it is a great bedtime companion to smoke with a loved one.
When smoking Atomical Haze, the mouth is left parched and arid. Using also results to red eyes that are equally dry. These two are a result of cannabinoids inhibiting moisture production, and further impending water retention in the body. Although the effects last for a few hours, it is best to have something to drink nearby to ease the ache throughout the day.
In rare cases, paranoia and anxiety are triggered by Atomical Haze. The rare phenomenon manifests when the strain is used excessively or in large amounts. Dizziness may accompany it too. Staying cautious by starting with low doses is highly recommended.
Medical Use and Benefits
It goes without saying that an excellent strain like Atomical Haze has multitudes of health benefits. After all, it did receive a well-deserved win during the 2012 Treating Yourself Medical Cannabis Cup (Sativa Category) in Canada. Through its cannabinoids, specifically its THC levels of up to 22%, it effectively eases a myriad of maladies that affect recreational and medicinal users alike.
Atomical Haze can let off some of the steam that comes with pent-up stress. It creates a positive outlook by boosting moods, stabilizing any turbulent emotion, and soothing anxiety instead of amplifying it. Through its happy high, it provides respite for a lot of mood disorders including depression and PTSD.
Its medicinal wonders do not cease with the head high too. Its muscle-relaxing and analgesic properties diminish agonies caused by eye pressure which can develop into glaucoma if left unattended. In soothing the body of aches and pains, it also decreases the feeling of nausea which is common among cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Growing Atomical Haze
Atomical Haze is not an easy plant to grow. It has lanky stalks that break easily when fazed with strong winds. Meanwhile, its branches can break easily at the weight of its heavy colas. And though it has landrace genetics, it is still not immune to the cold temperatures and fluctuating weather conditions of many four-seasoned countries. For this reason, most growers prefer placing it indoors.
Of course, this is not to say that the plant will not thrive in the northern hemisphere. On the contrary, it performs quite well with each plant producing at least 800 grams of trichome-coated buds. Rather, it just flowers longer due to its propensity for the warm sun and long days of the Mediterranean where it blossoms in early April. Maturity for Atomical Haze usually rests between the second to the last week of October.
Although it grows bigger than the average cannabis plant outdoors, placing it indoors will allow breeders to control various deciding factors such as temperature, lighting, and humidity. Within a span of 9 to 10 weeks, Atomical Haze produces a chock-full of resin-coated buds that weigh at least 400 grams.
Because of its Sativa structure, Atomical Haze needs to be topped early to stay short. However, one only needs one or two plants to fill a space intended for four or five Indica-dominant plants to produce the same results. Using the Screen of Green method also improves yields and trichome production.
The plant itself exhibits dark green leaves with snowy-white calyxes. Each produce buds that are covered in trichomes and lined with orange pistils, as if mimicking the sun itself.
